Week 3.1 Coming Up

#LoveWell November Character Trait: Goodness
If you're not careful, you'll get sucked into every negative thought you see and hear.  Here is a link to the Paradoxical Commandments  by Dr. Kent M. Keith that falls under the character trait of goodness.

I have always said, "Change your words; change your mindset."  I challenge you to spread good-sip instead of gossip, good news instead of bad news, and good will no matter what.  When in doubt, do good anyway.

Announcements
  • As we begin the third six weeks, it is critical that you work with your team to implement the Response to Assessment process in response to the the FA2 data.  Interventions should be developed by student and by skill.  Remember, if you focus on everything, you focus on nothing.  Utilize the data to narrow the focus.
  • Report cards will be going out next week.
  • Chromebooks have arrived!  Technology and campus LRC's are working diligently to get carts set up and ready for student use. While the devices cannot replace good instruction, technology is a tool that can enhance and extend learning in powerful ways.  The time is now to shift our "technology" professional learning to quality tech integration.  Work with your teams and find those tech savvy colleagues on your campus to get you started. Your leadership team is here to help so please ask if you need any support.
