Week 5.3

#BeTheLIGHT - End of the 3rd Quarter
Congratulations on all of your work in the 3rd quarter of the year.  As we approach spring break, we have seen great student growth because our district has committed to the 5 plays for excellence.  As a reminder our 5 plays that guarantee our success as a district are the following:

The CISD Teacher Visioning Committee is a group of teachers and leaders from every campus who have been meeting since the end of the first 6 weeks and this group has been advocating for you and leading our district to make us more effective with the 5 plays.  To wrap up the year, they will be discussing and evaluating how we get even better at these 5 plays.  I encourage you to reflect and share ideas with your principal or representative of our we can be more efficient and effective at guaranteeing the success of every student by guaranteeing every educator's success with the 5 plays.

Starting a Movement Book Study

Announcements

• The Insurance Company will be in during the week of March 23 to inspect our buildings.  Please remember that we must be 100% compliant in the issues that were sent out by Mr. Zurline this month.
• Friday, March 13 is a professional learning and work day, and the day will start at CHS with a very good breakfast provided by Sodexo at 7:30 a.m. followed by a district message at 8:00 and then Vertical Alignment meetings after that until 10:00.  After that staff will be released to campuses for items as designated by the principal.
• Election Day is Tuesday, March 3.
