Congratulations to you. During the 4th 6 weeks, our district experience both the best attendance in the last four years and the best behavior in the last four years during this 6 weeks period of time. In addition, our students experienced growth on the 4th 6 weeks test while other students got their opportunity to gauge all of their knowledge over all the skills that they will see on the STAAR test. Grades 4, 5, 7, 8 and EOC English took their mock tests last week.
Our results showed that in many areas, grade levels are performing where they finished last year. That means that in many areas, our students are poised to exceed their performance last year. This is exciting news with a few weeks until the test. Thank you to everyone for your hard work on the February 17 professional learning day. I know you worked hard developing targeted plans of action to respond to all student failure on the 4th 6 weeks assessment.
