Week 2.5

#BeTheLIGHT - The Next Step in Rigor through Independent Learning
Independent learning is a powerful strategy when students go beyond answer questions by reflecting and reviewing on their learning.  In this 1 minute Edutopia video, a teacher shares an independent  learning activity called Respond, Reflect, Review.  This activity can be done with dry erase markers or on notebook paper and it works well with students of all ages.

While this video is about an elementary classroom, I want you to see how students create products where students integrate writing, reading, collaboration, and problem solving to deepen their learning.
