As part of the academic improvement plan, all teachers, counselors, and administrators who will work in Carthage ISD in the 2019-2020 school year are required to attend a 2 day training on either May 28 and 29 or June 25 and 26.  You will need to sign up for which 2 days you choose to attend with your principal.  As a reminder, these 2 days are required.

The other 3 days of training will be at the discretion of your principal.  They will communicate information to you on how each teacher, paraprofessional, and support staff can obtain those days.

Engagement Task - Bell Ringer
To prepare for the upcoming school year, we will begin the process of creating a district language for student engagement.  As part of that discussion, we will spend the next 6 weeks sharing concepts related to engagement.  

Your Task  
We invite every district employee to read each weekly post on engagement and then comment with what you are currently doing to provide these kinds of engagement structures in your current instruction.  Every person who comments will be entered into a drawing for PRIZES.  Don't miss your chances to share the excellence in your classroom with everyone and a chance to win PRIZES.
