Week of March 18

Melissa Anderson
Wink's Words - Spring Learning
Over the next 6 weeks after Spring Break, we will engage in reflection over practices that help students learn.  In preparation for this reflection, I would like for you to reflect on the following questions:
  • What activities help my students learn at high levels?
  • What are some activities that would I like to see higher student engagement?
  • What makes my students engage at higher levels?
  • What causes my students to disengage from learning?
These questions will be very helpful as we work together to help one another improve engagement district wide and align our practices so that all students learn at higher levels.

Gov. Greg Abbott has proclaimed March 4 – 8, 2019 to be Educational Diagnosticians’ Week

We salute our diagnosticians, Danette Hooker and Jeannie Lawrence, for their hard work.

The Hyperlink
While this video doesn't exactly apply to education, it causes you to ponder how we got to where we are.  The hyperlink is so small, yet so powerful.  It makes our work so much more efficient and effective, and it couldn't have happened without a quest or yearning for continuous improvement.
