Engagement Task - Focus Lesson

Your Task  
We invite every district employee to read each weekly post on engagement and then comment with what you are currently doing to provide these kinds of engagement structures in your current instruction.  Every person who comments will be entered into a drawing for PRIZES.  Don't miss your chances to share the excellence in your classroom with everyone and a chance to win PRIZES.

Have you ever heard the statement, "The camera adds 10 pounds"?  The video below and the article with it illustrate why this phrase appears to be true in our minds.  We are what we perceive.

Our job as educators is to create the conditions that foster motivation in every child and every adult.  If a culture of motivation is strong, performance will no doubt mirror the perceptions inside the minds within that culture.
