The JH has created an initiative called "I Believe
in My Selfie" where students are encouraged
to share pictures to show their belief in themselves.

We have some new resources for you. If you look above this post, you will notice Dr. Porter and I have added a couple of pages for you that are resources to help you with your work. The first page is the assessment page, and we will add links about all the assessments that students will take in CISD and how you can gather data to improve instruction and strengthen interventions. Currently it holds information on creating and responding to assessments made exclusively in DMAC. If you have any questions about assessments, please reference this page. If something is not there, and you would like information on it, please let your campus principal know.

The second page is the instruction page. During the spring semester, we will reflect together about our district's definition of student engagement. This week, the instruction page has engagement language as created by educational researchers, Douglas Fisher and Nancy Frey. I encourage you to take a look at it and reflect on your instruction to determine which practices are in place in your instruction and which practices you would like to learn more about.
