Week 6 of Closure

#BeTheLIGHT - Celebrate a Senior & Closure
As many of you know, we cannot finish the school year in the building.  That does not mean that we are done.  We will finish the year with as many traditions as possible but they will be more virtual than we hoped.  Now that we know this, let's set our sights on finishing strong.

Celebrate a Senior - On Friday, I shared this link (CLICK HERE) with the community to encourage them to adopt a senior by sending them a card or gift congratulating them on their accomplishment.  I would like to invite you to be a part of this.  If you think back to your senior year, this time was busy, exciting, and chocked full of traditions and events.  Our seniors are missing the Magic of May because of COVID-19, but we can fix that.  I would like to encourage you to get your students involved in celebrating the senior class of 2020 by writing letters or drawing pictures of congratulations to our seniors.

Ending the Year - This week, principals met to discuss several items regarding how to end the year on a good note and get the building ready for next year.  There will be discussions on how kids return items, pick up things left behind, and how we can celebrate the kids through virtual assemblies.  Get your thinking caps on and think of ways we can end this year in a special way.
